New Aquarium UV ideas
New Aquarium UV ideas:
Many already connect their UV Sterilizer in-line to a canister filter or sump pump, however a power head or internal power filter also makes an excellent power unit; what is needed is the right connection so as to not have kinked flexible tubing and to return water efficiently without mess.
The simplest method is to use an intake adapter that can either be DIY or purchased. From there you run your tubing to your UV Sterilizer, then back to the aquarium, finally returning your water via a return adapter which also can be DIY or purchased.

This can work with standard UV Sterilizers or with Custom UV Sterilizers (which already come with a different hang on the back adapter).
